This Privacy Policy explains how Cementix ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Cementix HR mobile application (the "App"). Cementix HR is an internal human-resources application provided to Cementix employees for attendance, leave, payroll, requests, and related workplace services.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account & employee data: your name, employee ID, branch/department, work calendar, attendance records, leave balances, payroll-related requests, and other HR data associated with your employment.
  • Location data: when you check in or check out for attendance, the App accesses your device location to verify that you are at an authorized work site (geofencing). Location is used only at the moment of a check-in/out action.
  • Camera & photos: if you choose to add a profile photo or attach images to a request, the App accesses your camera and/or photo library for that purpose.
  • Documents: files you choose to attach to requests (e.g. expense or leave documents).
  • Device & technical data: device model, operating-system version, and a push-notification token used to deliver notifications.
  • Crash & diagnostic data: via Firebase Crashlytics, to detect and fix app crashes and errors.

2. Biometric Authentication

The App offers optional Face ID / fingerprint login for convenience. Biometric data is handled entirely by your device's secure hardware. We never collect, receive, transmit, or store your biometric data — the device only returns a success/failure result to the App.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide HR services: attendance, leave, payroll, requests, and announcements.
  • To verify on-site attendance through location at check-in/out.
  • To send you relevant notifications (e.g. request status, reminders).
  • To maintain security and verify your identity and device.
  • To diagnose crashes and improve reliability.

4. How Your Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising. Data is processed by:

  • Your employer (Cementix) and its HR/ERP system, which is the controller of your employment data.
  • Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging for notifications and Crashlytics for crash reporting) — see Google's Firebase Privacy.

We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

5. Data Retention

Employment and HR records are retained for as long as your employment relationship requires and in accordance with applicable legal and company record-keeping obligations.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and secure on-device storage for credentials and session tokens. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

7. Children's Privacy

Cementix HR is an employee-only workplace application intended for adults (18+). It is not directed to, or intended for use by, children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, subject to applicable law and your employment relationship, by contacting us using the details below.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
